Job Description Job Description Location: Grand Rapids, MI Type: Direct Hire Shifts: Varied (2nd & 3rd shift options) Pay: $28.90 – $41.00/hour Shift Differentials Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 – $12,000 Pay & Shift Differentials Base Hourly Range: $28.90 – $41.00 (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 – $12,000 Available Shifts Youth Populations: FT Nights – 32 or 36 hours FT Evenings – 32 hours High Acuity Adult: FT Days – 36 hours FT Evenings – 32 hours FT Nights – 36 hours Older Adult Population: FT Evenings – 32 hours FT Nights – 32 hours Weekend & On-Call: May be required Responsibilities Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans. Provide and coordinate nursing care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge needs. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per policy. Identify and communicate safety concerns or risks to providers. Serve as a clinical leader—delegate tasks, support staff development, and manage unit flow. Support person-centered, recovery-focused care across settings. Maintain professionalism and uphold Pine Rest’s mission, values, and model of care. Perform other duties as assigned. May function as a Charge Nurse and may participate in training, scheduling, staffing, authorizations, and monitoring medication/health activities.
