Job Description:
Job Title: Controller Reports To: Administrative Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Salary:
$100,000-$110,000 Position Overview: We're looking for a strategic
and detail-oriented Controller to lead the organization's
accounting operations. This role is responsible for maintaining
accurate financial records, overseeing general ledger activities,
and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal
candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical skills, and a
proactive mindset to support decision-making and long-term
financial health. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day
accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage and maintain the general ledger Prepare monthly and annual
financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,
and profit and loss reports Reconcile bank accounts and address
discrepancies with financial institutions Manage accounts
receivable collections and accounts payable processes Ensure timely
and accurate project invoicing, billing, and closeout Set up and
maintain account structures and oversee month-end and year-end
close Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
Support budgeting and forecasting processes Collaborate with
leadership to provide financial insights and reporting Serve as a
point of contact for financial matters across departments Perform
additional financial tasks and support as needed Occasional Support
Duties (0-5 hrs/week): Assist with issuing purchase orders Help
receive deliveries or manage incoming mail What We're Looking For:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Positive Pay preferred Strong knowledge of
financial accounting, cost accounting, and internal controls Deep
understanding of GAAP and industry best practices Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead discussions
around budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning High attention to
detail and strong organizational skills Professionalism when
handling sensitive financial information Experience communicating
effectively with customers and vendors regarding AP/AR Open to
