SummaryGenerate new contracted branded fuel and unbranded fuel dealer reseller business through personal sales efforts. Effectively service and support existing branded fuel and unbranded fuel dealer reseller business. Build strong relationships, track contract renewal, support A/R and dispatch activities, and maximize new sales and business retention.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Selling - Generate leads through personal activities (cold calling, existing customers, vendors, networking and referrals). Lead generation efforts to be followed up by qualifying based on volume, credit risk, and brand offering. Being able to understand, prepare and effectively present sales proposals, supply agreements and contracts.Customer Service - Maintain Van Manen Petroleum Group's current customer relationships. Be able to effectively communicate, by phone, electronically, and in person in a timely manner. Work with internal and external company resources to quickly resolve issues and provide solutions to our customers. Understanding, communicating and implementing BP/Sunoco brand requirements, and programs. Track contract renewal dates.Administrative - Report to management on a monthly basis volume year over year comparisons, branded contract volumes, executive summaries and monthly expense reports. Enter sales activities and data into Customer Relationship Management database.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, prospects, and the general public.Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMaintains a valid Drivers License.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
