Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Our Sales staff propels our business through a driven commitment to exceed our customer's needs. As an industry leader Notions Marketing helps you achieve this goal by offering an extensive product mix, an unlimited potential customer base and a commitment to employee development. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet or exceed sales goals
• Make at least 45 quality sales calls each day (incoming and outgoing). Quality calls are measured by a plan in place which outlines the opportunity to expand the craft sets in a customer's store(s).
• Spend a minimum of 3 hours per day on the phone.
• Continually gain new product knowledge and fine-tune selling skills
• Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products and market for crafts
• Build and deepen relationships with customers
• Solve problems along with researching product information
• Respond to customer inquiries
• Develop existing customers BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior sales experience
  • Strong phone communication skills
  • Must be able to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work in an environment of a competitive nature
  • Strong relationship building, presentation and closing proficiencies
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Work well independently with minimum supervision or direction
  • Work in an office environment
  • Comfortable working on the computer and on the phone for extended periods of time PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
    • Product or industry knowledge of creative arts and crafts products
    • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Prior experience working in a commission-based sales position
