ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIY: - We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales that is driven to win, loves to coach, and is a strategic thinker that is looking to make a big impact, inspire others, and drive organizational growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of scaling sales organizations, developing sales professionals, instituting systems and processes, analyzing data, developing forecasts, and leading teams that continually exceed growth goals. The Vice President of Sales will report to the President of RecogNation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspire, equip, coach, and lead the various professionals within the sales organization (SDR's, AE's, Enterprise Rep's, Team Leads, Managers, etc.) to elevate their performance and exceed targets.
  • Recruit, attract, engage, and nurture exceptional sales talent.
  • Establish a high performing team culture of activity, curiosity, excellent communication, accountability, and service.
  • Become a systemic implementor of rigorous sales processes, leading to higher quality execution and increased consistency across the sales organization.
  • Provide situational coaching and advice to help further deals along in the sales process, develop reps, and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Establish, lead, and participate in regular 1:1's with direct reports, sales meetings, pipeline review meetings, role play and training workshops, prospect web demos and in person meetings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics leaders to assess the effectiveness of demand generation activities, optimize sales campaign performance, elevate data integrity and accuracy within the CRM, and score leads and lead sources.
  • Collaborate with Program Engagement to ensure that all sales messaging, program design, customer needs, opportunity, and expectation conversations discussed through the sales process are effectively communicated and transitioned internally to ensure customer success.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology Development, Operations, and Purchasing to elevate RecogNation's solutions and offerings. Serving as the voice of the customer and providing competitive market intelligence back to the organization.
  • Become an engaged member and positive contributor of the RecogNation Leadership team.
  • Participate in industry tradeshows, networking events, and educational conferences.
  • Champion the use of data to derive insights and drive action.
  • Develop and establish compelling and consistent 'story telling' on RecogNation's USP's throughout the sales organization.
  • Be a tone setter and lead by example. KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
    • Drive an annual recurring revenue growth (ARR) rate of greater than 25% annually.
    • Sales Organization produces 100+ Net New Logo's Annually.
    • Achieve a dynamic entry level recruiting and rep. development model that generates top producers that have succeeded in each role along their growth journey with RecogNation. IDEAL CANDIDATE TRAITS:

      • Effective educator and trainer. REQUIREMENTS:
        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of relevant work experience.
        • 15+ years of sales / sales leadership experience in a B2B environment.
        • 7+ years off full accountability for a sales team, division, or organization.
        • Background in selling SaaS products is preferred but not required.
        • Proven track record of impacting and elevating the performance of others through coaching and mentoring.
        • Experience with sales organization design, outbound campaign design, establishment of systematic processes and procedures, and utilization of CRM and Sales Enablement Platforms.
        • Experience with generating performance reports, annual forecasts, and executive summaries for Leadership Teams. Our Winning Culture Offers
