Our team works with the top global brands and specializes in eLearning, gamification, blended learning, video, animation, immersive technology, extended reality, and application development.The goal of the Software Sales Engineer is to identify, design, and scope solutions that solve client challenges using immersive technology and custom software. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of technology, extended reality, and the software development process while being comfortable on calls with clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the team of Account Executives to understand client challenges and provide support where necessary
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to clients how immersive technology (XR) and custom software services can solve their challenges
  • Create compelling proposals that speak to client problems and the possible solutions
  • Collaborate with the software development team to ensure projects ahere to the vision established during the sales process
  • Research and understand existing tools that can be used as part of a client solution
  • Creatively design custom solutions for clients and successfully sell them
  • Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers
  • Research, develop, and modify solutions to meet clients' technical requirements and needs
  • Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target clients
  • Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of MindSpring's products and services
  • Collaborate with the software development team to ensure offerings meet client demandsDesired Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in software development, computer science, business administration, or related field
    • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales or engineering
    • Experience in sales and the technology field, previous XR experience or custom software a plus
    • Strong familiarity with the software development process
    • Ability to relate technical information to non-technical teammates and clients
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
    • Can work independently and without supervision when requiredMust be a team player and self-starter with the ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Candidate must have superior organization skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
