With continuous growth and expansion nationwide, the company is eager to add new, talented individuals to the Byron Center team!Job Description:The OEM Sales Coordinator is a new position in our Sales department. The Sales Coordinator - OEM will serve as the main point of contact for our B2B customers in the heavy duty truck and trailer parts industry. This position will provide phone and email support throughout the sales process, including placing orders and answering customer questions. They may also be travel as needed to make outside sales calls on the customer base. As an industry leader, we have seen our customer base grow significantly, and are looking for someone who is a natural communicator, committed to our customers' satisfaction, and ambitious enough to jump in, join our team, and make a name for yourself!Job Duties:

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with our current customers in the assigned territory / market segment
  • Answering customer questions about the products we sell and informing them of any new products that could potentially be a good fit
  • Work with customer to spec new trailer running gear, electrical and air systems
  • Generate clean and concise quotations and proposals for our customers
  • Handle customer concerns by getting to the root of the problem and providing the appropriate solution
  • Work closely with management and other departments to ensure superior customer service
  • Stay on top of industry trends and cycles to identify potential opportunities for company growthQualifications
    • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales (required)
    • 4 year business degree (preferred)
    • Previous experience at a distributor, dealership, or manufacturer (preferred)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
    • Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats
    • Able to learn and navigate our various computer programs and processes
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment
    • Sales experience a plus, but being technical is more important for this positionSkills:
