Regional Sales Manager is an Outside Sales position working within
an assigned geographic territory or market segment. The primary
responsibility is to grow sales within assigned existing accounts
and to prospect and develop new accounts. The position requires
significant relationship development, account management and
prospecting to fully develop sustained year over year growth.Skills
& Qualifications:
- Seeking individuals with experience as a Regional Sales Manager
that possess the skills required to succeed in today's
environment.
- 4-10 years of sales experience.
- Computer proficiency with the Microsoft office suite of
products
- Bachelor's degree (or are in the process of completing
Bachelor's degree).
- Experience in the Heavy-Duty Aftermarket / Automotive parts
industry is strongly preferred but we are willing to train the
right candidate.
- Successful candidates will have a background that clearly
distinguishes themselves from the crowd. We are looking for highly
motivated individuals with a skill set that indicates
resourcefulness, resiliency, leadership qualities and those who are
not afraid to work for the betterment of themselves and their
team.
- Candidates should be comfortable conducting both in person
sales calls as well as web-based sales calls in today's
environment. Candidates must be able to prospect for new business
opportunities in their territory and develop business plans that
produce results and growth.Physical and Travel Requirements:
Candidates must have the ability to work in and around a truck shop
environment and must have the ability to lift and carry up to
40lbs. Must be able to use stairs and have the ability to walk on
paved and unpaved surfaces. This position requires frequent travel
by car and or plane. Travel will be 8 to 10 nights per month.
Candidate must possess and maintain valid drives license as a
requirement of employment.Benefits:
