About the Role

The IT Lead & Information Security Analyst will be the Initial point of contact for all new IT services related all IT related equipment. They will be responsible for internal IT support within the Magna Mirrors North America office. The position also plays a vital role in protecting the organization's proprietary and sensitive information. The role requires the ability to identify and correct deficiencies in systems and processes. The security analyst will work with various departments to ensure security controls are implemented as per Magna's policies, legislation and compliance regimes such as TISAX. The role will also help with Audit preparations and remediation.

Your Responsibilities

IT Lead
--- Troubleshoot problems reported by users through email, phone call, face-to-face, and the Matrix42 helpdesk system.
--- Administer computers, printers, VOIP phones, software, and miscellaneous hardware.
--- Maintain and ensure network integrity through WAN/LAN system. Troubleshoot to help Network team isolate and solve issues.
--- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, including drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
--- Create quotes for desktop builds including all compatible hardware components needed. Build desktop computers to fit the needs of the environment. Install and configure the needed software, and configure network and drivers.
--- Quote and order laptops to fit individual user's needs. Install and upgrade various hardware components i.e. SSD, RAM. Install and configure software needed. Configure laptop network and driver settings.
--- Maintain Laptops, and Desktops, performing maintenance as needed.
--- Maintain, install and repair printer hardware as required.
--- Maintain and Troubleshoot cellphones including email setup and contact lists.
--- Set up, monitor and configure IP cameras on Network.
--- Deployment of new devices on network, switch port activation. Installation of Ethernet cable and cable management within the network cabinets. Basic network configuration for individual machines.
--- Maintain a Software licensing list for compliance with company and legal regulations.

Information Security Analyst
--- Supports the Mirrors Engineering Center with Information Security activities while working with various departments to protect Company's valuable assets and intellectual property
--- Leads efforts to install security controls and implement solutions to protect systems and infrastructure
--- Supports the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on industry standards like ISO 27001/2 and NIST-800-53
--- Ensures the alignment and compliance with common security management frameworks, regulatory requirements, industry leading practices and global security policies
--- Assists in the development of necessary and appropriate operating procedures related to information security to meet standard such as TISAX and internal controls.
--- Assists with security awareness campaigns and training based on policies, standards, and guidelines
--- Assists with the investigation of security breaches and other cyber security incidents
--- Assists with internal and external security audits and ensure compliance with security controls
--- Test and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans in line with compliance requirements.
--- Resolves urgent situations outside the business hours when required, such as security related incidents.

Who we are looking for
--- Demonstrated strong communication skills in order to communicate with other functional areas both internally and externally for successful completion of projects.
--- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to influence decisions that affect assigned projects.
--- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and develop appropriate solutions in order to assist in troubleshooting problems.
--- Demonstrated ability to stay up to date with the evolving threat landscapes and developments in the IT industry.

Your preferred qualifications
--- Hands on knowledge, IT - Information Systems and/or Information Security
--- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience within Information Technology field
--- Computer IT related degree: min 2-years diploma; Bachelor's Degree is a plus
--- Outstanding communication skills are required
--- Experience with ISMS implementation is a plus
--- Accredited IT / Security certifications is a plus
--- Automotive or Manufacturing experience is a plus
--- Knowledge of security standards, frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001 and 27002, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, TISAX, TIPSR, SOX, ITIL, COBIT or similar is a plus
