AFFORDABLE HOUSING MAINTENANCE WORKER - FULL TIME - 30 HOURS PER WEEK - MONDAY - FRIDAY

Do you have housekeeping, lawn & equipment maintenance experience? This important Maintenance Worker role offers a variety of tasks including ensure our 24 unit Affordable Living Community, the surrounding grounds and equipment are accurately maintained. Other daily tasks include responding to work order requests and maintaining a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors. 30 hours per week ROLE that pays $17.50 per hour. This position is eligible for benefits, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. This role does have on-call weekend and holiday emergency on-call hours. -

  Assists in the general maintenance and housekeeping at assigned campus/property.
  
  Duties and Responsibilities
  
• Ensure building, grounds and equipment are accurately maintained for the safety and convenience of persons served. Provide recommendation to improve quality of services provided.
  
• Respond to and repair items indicated on work order requests with minimal assistance.
  
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on equipment and plumbing; document and update schedule as necessary.
  
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as advised.
  
• Perform internal housekeeping and external grounds keeping functions, including lawn care and snow removal.
  
• Prepare and clean vacant apartments/rooms.
  
• Maintain inventory of supplies and submit order to supervisor.

  Job Qualifications
  
  Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
  
  • 
    
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
    
    Experience
    
    • 
      
    • One year general maintenance experience preferred
      
      Additional Work Requirements
      
      • 
        
      • May be required to participate in "on-call" availability
        
      • May be required to work extended hours, weekends and evenings
        
      • Valid unrestricted driver's license, good driving record, and valid automobile insurance
        
      • Affordable Living requires use of personal automobile for business purposes
