Path Engineering LLC (a staffing agency with years of experience helping companies with high-volume hiring needs) is posting this job on behalf of Benteler Automotive Corporation. Job Description:We have openings on both 2nd and 3rd shift and pay is entirely based on experience.Under minimal supervision, maintain, develop, and/or modify existing programs on controlled equipment, such as robots, welders, benders, presses, lasers, and any other automated equipment. Test and maintain complex electronic and electro-mechanical specialized test apparatus and custom production equipment. The work involves the use of practical welding, industrial electronics, electrical, and basic machine tool theory, as well as the ability to work from schematics and rough sketches in completing assignments. Modify programs within specified process parameters.In this role, you will report directly to the Automation Supervisor. No other associates report directly to the Automation Technician.The Automation Technician will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot programs for robot presses, lasers, and any other electronic systems.The incumbent will understand and interpret complex schematics and diagrams.The Automation Technician often will work with engineering and manufacturing to professionally install new equipment or move and re-installment of existing equipment.The incumbent is responsible to install and maintain equipment to OSHA and Benteler safety standards.The Automation Technician often will work with engineering to develop and modify programs associated with the manufacturing of new or existing equipment.The incumbent will report daily activities to his/her supervisor to ensure that accurate records are maintained in the asset maintenance system.The incumbent makes recommendations to continuously improve Benteler's processes and equipment.Job Qualifications:

• Must meet selection criteria as developed by Developmental Dimensions International (DDI)
