About The Job:The company has a great opportunity for a Repair and Maintenance Technician with an opportunity to grow with the company. Forklifts, skid steers, cranes, vehicles, semi-trailers and processing equipment plus the facility are just some of the things that will keep you busy. No tools needed, we provide them.Scheduled shift is Monday through Friday 8a-4:3opm, full benefits plus large annual annual bonus potential.Position Details:This position is a hybrid and includes repair and maintenance but also includes operational support. The primary responsibility of this role is to optimize equipment and ensure it is serving the company well and that the company is being a good steward of the equipment to maximize the investment. This position reports directly to the Repair and Maintenance Manager. Some of the responsibilities include:--- Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.--- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.--- Shut down and disassemble machinery as needed.--- Maintain industrial equipment and repair or replace malfunctioning production or processing parts.--- Inspect equipment on a regular basis and submit appropriate documentation of test results and work order resolutions.--- Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (HIPPO).---Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing Revised 2212023 orders.--- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.--- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.--- Safely operate heavy equipment, power tools, hoists and hand tools.Operations Support:This part of the Industrial Repair and Maintenance position responsibility is to support company success when production and operations departments need additional support.
