COMPUTER TECHNICIAN Location: Comstock Park, MI 49321Duration: 18 months--Kelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Computer Technician to work on-site in Grand Rapids as primary point of contact for providing hardware and software related assistance to 70+ end users. The ideal candidate will have background supporting hardware deployments, Office 365 and be comfortable in manufacturing setting.--Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

• Build, configure, repair, and install hardware devices
• Address all computer related hardware issues including servers, terminals, tablets, desk phones, company cell phones, printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
• Assist users with questions related to software programs and functionality
• Create user profiles in active directory and email accounts
• Manage backup of information
• Assist with weekly company-wide rebooting activities
• Manage technology inventory, including researching and sourcing the purchase of key replacement items
• Run and crimp network lines and provide support with network and internet connectivity
• Maintain response and repair times within the SLA
• Troubleshoot and support printing issues
• Analyze problems and solve hardware and software related issues, both directly and remotely as applicable
• Other duties and projects as assigned--Skills and Qualifications: --
  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology or other related field, minimum of a two (2) year degree from technical college
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customer service mindset
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work assignments, multitask, and meet project deadlines
  • Motivated, goal oriented, self-starter--
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy requirements and best practices
