If you are ready to explore this option with us, apply today!--ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSBecome a knowledge expert in the many products we offer as well as hunting new business to increase market share.Constantly looking for new business, but also have a strong sense of ownership and treat their work as if it is their own business.Responsible for the initial sales conversation (mostly via phone), going after any and all leads, teaching customers on new and current products, and guiding the sale to close.Represent Britten, Inc. well when traveling to meet with customers and demonstrate strong integrity when working independently.As part of the sales team is continuously doing industry research and communicating with potential customers to find leads, as well as, working with marketing and attending trade shows to generate interest as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and POSITION REQUIREMENTSA Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferredA minimum of 1 to 3 years in outside sales is strongly preferred.Assertiveness to promote products and services to new and current customersMust be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task and reflect a positive attitude towards challenging job requirementsThe ability to work before/after typical office hours as work may demandThick skin. You are going to make mistakes, we all have.
