Claims Coordinator Job DescriptionAlera Group is seeking a skilled Claims Coordinator to join our Property & Casualty team in Grand Rapids, MI.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the claims process for property and casualty clients.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient claims experience.
• Process claims documentation, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for insurance carriers and clients.
• Work closely with insurance carriers to facilitate the claims process, including follow-up, negotiations, and resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in claims processing.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients, exercising independent judgment and decision-making.
• Support claims process through research and expertise.Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a claims handling or insurance-related role within Property and Casualty.
  • Possess or willing to obtain a Property & Casualty license.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance coverages.
  • Understanding of proper management of workers' compensation claims.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal and analytical skills.What We Offer:
