Job Description:

The Outpatient Clinician is accountable to the Clinical Supervisor to provide therapy and casework (where applicable) to clients they are assigned within a wide range of presenting concerns and diagnostic criteria within the office, telemedicine, and other community settings.RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct assigned intake assessments for counseling, completing all required paperwork.Provide individual, family and/or multi-systems therapy for assigned clients.Maintain appropriate and timely documentation within the Electronic Medical Record including but not limited to progress notes and files on each client.Participate in individual supervision with the Clinical Supervisor.Participate in team meetings presenting on cases and clinical topics as required. Participation includes the sharing of ideas, feedback, and department planning. Seek and solicit feedback as needed.Continually assess client's needs and make appropriate referrals if additional services or a more intensive level of care is needed.Develop Treatment Plans, Quarterly Reviews, Discharge Summaries, Clinical Progress notes, and other documents as required by contract, agency policies, and best practice.Coordinate the transfer/discharge process for the client and family, informing Clinical Supervisor, and necessary support staff of projected transfer/discharge goals.Consultation within other departmental service lines.Monitor the quality of overall treatment services to clients on their caseload; and evaluate the adequacy of these services to meet treatment objectives. Communicate effectively with Wedgwood's Psychiatric services to ensure continuity of care.Respect others and understand their needs and feelings, regardless of race, social, ethnic, economic, and religious background; have an attitude and aptitude for providing nurturance, being patient, and accepting others.Participates in Quality Improvement Initiatives.Comply with departmental processes and procedures surrounding authorization and reauthorizations as needed per caseload.Professional GrowthUtilize educational opportunities and resources offered by the agency and through the profession for continued development of skills and clinical expertise.Use the knowledge and skills of his/her supervisor and peers to increase both counseling and administrative skills.Participate in obtaining certification, training cohorts, and other learning opportunities to advance clinical skill sets that align with the ongoing needs of the agency's clientele.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field, from an accredited institution.Experience providing individual, family and group counseling, preferred.Required to provide proof of limited or full license in one of the following areas: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy.Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose and objectives of the agency.HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Friday, variable hours between 8am-7pmCompensation Ranges:Limited License: $57k to $62.5kFull License: $61k to 68.5kBENEFITS:403(b) retirement plan with employer matchLow cost medical plans with great coverage optionsHolistic dental and vision plansPet insuranceLegal insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsA Locally Partnered Employee Assistance ProgramCompetitive time offDirect depositFederal Student Loan ForgivenessPaid HolidaysWe also offer a variety of employer paid benefits for full time staffShort term disabilityLong term disabilityLife insurance up to 2x your annual salaryWedgwood is proud to offer a full gymnasium with an attached 24hr wellness center that houses a wide variety of workout equipment.
