This is an excellent opportunity to lead the administration and optimization of our MicroStrategy platform across diverse platforms, enabling efficient data analysis and reporting capabilities for our organization.Meijer is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MicroStrategy Administrator with expertise in multi-platform environments, preferably in Microsoft Azure. As a Senior MicroStrategy Administrator, you will take a leadership role in administering, configuring, and maintaining our MicroStrategy platform across various platforms and cloud environments. Your extensive experience and technical proficiency will be critical in ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our business intelligence (BI) system. Hybrid and/or Remote - MUST live within Meijer's six-state footprint (MI, WI, IL, IN, KY, OH)What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
  • Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the MicroStrategy platform across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Azure and other cloud environments.
  • Design and implement a scalable MicroStrategy architecture that aligns with our business needs and future growth plans.
  • Manage and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks or issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support MicroStrategy initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configuration, and processes in multi-platform environments.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the MicroStrategy platform by managing user accounts, roles, and access controls.
  • Implement best practices for MicroStrategy development, deployment, and maintenance across different platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in MicroStrategy and related technologies, evaluating their potential benefits for the organization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for MicroStrategy administration and provide mentorship to junior administrators.What You'll Bring With You (Qualifications):
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience as a Senior MicroStrategy Administrator in multi-platform environments, preferably with expertise in Microsoft Azure.
    • Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture, components, and features across various platforms.
    • Proficiency in administering and configuring MicroStrategy in cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Azure.
    • Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of MicroStrategy environments in multi-platform setups.
    • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and SQL.
    • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Teradata, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with emerging technologies in the BI space.
