Tool & Die Supervisor

• $65K to $80K
• Will oversee 7 to 8 people Job Description: Supervises tool room personnel. Will work closely with engineering team. Will support production tooling needs to maintain a high degree of quality and ensure on time delivery.--- Directly supervise all Tool Room personnel for the most favorable costs and quality workmanship.--- Maintain the established maintenance programs that successfully care for all tools to prevent quality and productivity problems.--- Maintain tool improvement program that is data driven and successful in providing ongoing improvement related to die and tool performance.--- Analyze machining and tooling problems and coordinate corrective action. --- Provide instruction and guidance in the use of tool room equipment. --- Requisitions tooling, materials, and supplies required to meet tooling goals.--- Participates in continuous improvement activities.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Journeyman's card
  • At least two years supervising or managing in a tool and die environment
  • Proficient in die repairs
