Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Acme Davenport Machine Operator. As an automatics Operator you will be safely operating ACME and/or Davenport equipment. You are required to meet all quality specifications and production rate on 2 or more machines. You will be inspecting parts, using a variety of measuring techniques, to support the conformance requirements.Essential Duties: Safety - You come to work fit and healthy, work safely, look out for the safety of others, eliminate and report hazards, use protective equipment, and report incidents immediately. You keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition. You take pride in cleanliness and you keep the plant clean. Attendance - You show up on time and ready to work. You consistently work whenever needed without complaint or comment (i.e. overtime). Operate the Acme and/or Davenport equipment in a safe and effective manner. Specific requirements include the demonstrated ability to: stock machines; run open tolerance jobs; weigh count pieces; keep two machines running at the same time. Measure and monitor parts using appropriate instruments to meet all quality standards (conformance) Meet production rates (employee efficiency) Notify your supervisor immediately of any issues that prevent you from doing anything included in this job description. Recognize changes and ask questions accordingly Track time properly - punch in/out of work orders properly for accurate time tracking and part counts Support your team leader Cross train when provided the opportunity and perform any other task assigned Loads stock into feeding mechanism, replaces worn tools, may operate surface grinder to sharpen tools and may use statistical process control techniques Requirements 1. 2 or more years of ACME Davenport Machine Operation experience. _William H Hunter Recruiting Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time offSchedule: Monday to Friday
