Overview

Ready for an internship position where you can apply your skills acquired in coursework into a real-world business setting? BISSELL is proactively looking for an intern to help us with testing and evaluation of the electrical control systems in our products.

Responsibilities

• The Electrical test team of the Product Approval Testing laboratory has a long list of continuous improvement projects in our goals for 2023 (these consist primarily of projects to develop &/or refine new test methods, and their associated equipment); it is our hope to have an intern own at least one of these projects and assist on at least 2 more. The exact projects chosen will be based on the skillset and interests of the candidate.
• In addition to the projects above, we also hope to have the intern assist with researching past test results for data to go into our future design re-use data base. This would be done as "filler work" during lulls in or between the projects above. Qualifications
  
  Applicants MUST be currently enrolled at an accredited, four-year university majoring in......
  • Electrical Engineering, Robotics, &/or Electronics Technology (or related field)
  • And have an aptitude for using laboratory test equipment.
