Job Description:

*Job Summary* Warranty/Returns Position opening with a national manufacturer and distributor located in Grant, MI area. This position is a full time, inside customer service position servicing the warranty and returns needs of landscapers, contractors and distributors in the U.S. and Canada in a fast paced environment. Preferred applicants will possess strong communication skills, business computer skills, sales or customer service experience, and a mechanical aptitude. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Assist customers with troubleshooting, repairing or returning equipment as applicable. * Receive returns and repairs, following up with a resolution to customers in a timely manner. * Repair water pumps, air compressors and other equipment. * Assist the customer service team with order entry and technical support as needed. * Maintain a high level of organization and record keeping of all warranties, returns and repairs. *Qualifications and Skills* * Excellent communication skills - a proven ability to perform with tact and courtesy while under pressure in a fast paced environment. * 2-3 years experience in customer service related field preferred. * A mechanical aptitude and some experience working on small motors is preferred. * Strong decision making and negotiating skills * High School Diploma or GED *Benefits* * Competitive pay * Generous 401k retirement plan * Health Insurance available after 60 days Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * No nights Weekly day range: * Monday to Friday * No weekends Work setting: * In-person * Office Ability to commute/relocate: * Grant, MI 49327: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: One location
