visit POSITION PROFILEResponsible for applying advanced knowledge
of accounting principles, concepts, theories, and techniques in
conducting activities supporting the development, monitoring and
maintenance of ledger accounts and financial statements/reporting.
Under minimal supervision completes assignments that are complex in
nature and broader in scope, requiring thorough understanding of
managerial (Cost) accounting / finance fundamentals.Essential
Functions:Analyze and interpret data and reports containing complex
accounting concepts, issues, and activities.Collaborates with
finance colleagues and Internal/external MillerKnoll contacts to
collect, validate, and interpret data. Assists in communicating
detailed information under general supervision.Conducts general
activities as an individual contributor in support of maintaining /
monitoring the more complex ledger accounts and generating detailed
reports for business units.Performs additional responsibilities as
requested to achieve business objectives.Maintains training /
knowledge base on various technologies to help optimize current
business practices.Uses broadly defined procedures to support
documentation processes in compliance with corporate financial
guidelines.Additional Essential Functions:Conduct/perform balance
sheet (including inventory) account reconciliations, along with
review and analysis.Coordinate Standard Cost rolls and review
monthly and quarterly, including material, labor, and overhead
rates.Conduct/perform reserve calculations for excess, slow moving,
and obsolete.Monthly closing of financials by using documented and
standardized procedures.Price capture calculations across all sites
based utilization of documented and standardized procedures.Oversee
and review inventory cycle count process and corporate
requirements.Fixed asset additions and deletion monitoring, along
with asset management / tracking per corporate procedures /
requirements.Labor tracking / reporting by business units daily,
weekly, or quarterly as required.Required Skills:Bachelor's degree
in Accounting or Finance. (MBA or CPA a plus)4+ years of experience
in professional accounting, in a manufacturing environment
