The Team
Due to the regulatory requirements and oversight of the PCAOB,
members of the Audit Talent Development team are often asked to
respond to multiple, random, urgent requests re: curriculum
content, delivery logistics and timing, and in process development.
As such, it is critical that development specialists can
effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably. It is
critical that development specialists are comfortable aligning
communication, people, culture, processes, resources and systems to
ensure effective implementation and delivery of required results.
Our Audit Talent Development Team works primarily and almost
exclusively in a virtual environment. As such, it is important that
development specialists are able to allocate their own time
efficiently, handle multiple demands and competing priorities on
their own with, at times, little direct supervision from others,
manage meetings effectively over the phone, and recognize and
demonstrate engagement and support for their team by actively
participating on calls, raising questions and sharing their
opinions appropriately.
Work you'll do
- Support the design, development, pilot, delivery, and
evaluation of innovative learning and capability development
solutions that support Deloitte Audit & Assurance professionals'
performance and growth
- Execute L&D strategies in collaboration with Development
COE Leadership, senior Audit & Assurance leaders, and
cross-functional Talent stakeholders
- Conduct and leverage market research for learning innovations,
new technologies, and benchmarks to create and deploy leading
practice learning experiences
- Support the design and development cycle of innovative
solutions within one or more Learning Modernization strategy
pillars (e.g., Adaptive learning, Proficiency assessments, Item
analysis and test writing, etc.)
- Support and collaborate with project teams, which may include
Development Specialists and Peers, Subject Matter Resources,
Delivery Managers, vendors, and India-based instructional designers
and technical teams, to ensure the effective development and
delivery of experiments, pilots, portfolio innovation strategies,
and processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and Deloitte policies and
guidelines related to Continuing Professional Education and quality
requirements
- Build, manage, and leverage positive, collaborative
partnerships among business stakeholders, SMRs and peers
- Support the design and measurement of program and solution
metrics, including data analytics and reporting
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree; at least 4 years of related experience
- Demonstrated analytics experience; ability to analyze and
synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data from multiple
sources to identify themes and develop compelling
recommendations
- Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience:
conception and initiation, planning, execution,
performance/monitoring, and project close
- Demonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and
influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both
verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management
levels
- Highly creative, divergent thinker; demonstrated ability to
think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas, approaches,
and solutions
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management
skills
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced,
complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
- Strong command of MS Office skills and ability to produce
deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence."
- Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and
the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future
Preferred:
- Advanced degrees or certifications in Organizational Behavior
or Industrial / Organizational Psychology
- Prior consulting or professional services experience
- Experience leading and delivering strategic communications and
change management strategies
- Experience working in learning and development or talent
management organizations
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of
factors that are considered in making compensation decisions
including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training;
licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational
needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the
applicable geographic differential associated with the location at
which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical
for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for
their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts
and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the
current range is $78,570 to $144,695.
