Job Title: RN - Psych Location: Grand Rapids, MI Duration: 03+ Months (Possible Extension) Schedule: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM (05*08) 11:30 PM - 12:00 PM (03*12) Duties: The RN provides nursing care to patients on each clinical unit as assigned, utilizing the nursing process. Patient population serviced includes both adolescents & adults. Core Competencies. 1. Actively supports, promotes & works to fulfil the Mission, Vision & Values of client. 2. Demonstrates commitment to the Service Excellence program. 3. Meets all competency & education requirements annually per department STANDARDS, which will include age specific-growth & development competencies. Job Requirements:Requirement: Basic understanding of psychiatric nursing theory & practice with previous psychiatric clinical experience - Desired AHA BLS - Required Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan - Required Demonstrates clinical competency in providing general nursing care - Desired Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Required Handle with Care (will train) - Highly desired
