Job Description:
SUMMARY: The account executive identifies potential new clients
and their needs, maintains positive and active relationships with
clients in a specified territory, and is focused on territory
referral growth and success. The account executive also partners
with branch and corporate operations leaders to troubleshoot,
problem-solve, educate, and deliver excellent customer
service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Develops new referral opportunities
and increases sales revenue in assigned territory2. Maintains
positive and mutually beneficial relationships with assigned
territory clients3. Serves as a client partner to identify needs
and solutions, and an internal operations partner to ensure a high
level of customer service4. Becomes actively involved with
operations' leaders to troubleshoot and problem-solve specific
client issues5. Communicates in a professional manner any
challenges and opportunities to sales leadership, client partners,
and internal operations partners6. Develops and maintains a high
level of industry, product and process knowledge7. Participates in
educational opportunities, trade shows, sales team meetings,
process review and development, and other engagements as requested
and/or assigned8. Maintains an appropriate level of DASCO process,
client, and/or contracts confidentiality9. Maintains and reports
data to leadership as required; which may include expense tracking,
business schedule, account activity, sales activity and growth
toward assigned goals.10. Compliance with any and all applicable
rules and regulations, i.e., HIPAA, Joint Commission, State
Respiratory Board, etc.11. Performs other job-related duties and
responsibilities as may be assigned from time to timeREQUIRED
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:1. High School diploma or GED
equivalent.2. One year DASCO experience or two years related
industry experiencePREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:1.
Bachelor degree in business, healthcare management, or related
field2. Two years sales experience in a healthcare related field3.
Respiratory Therapist or other related professional
certificationADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:1. Valid driver's license2.
Operational vehicle3. Auto insuranceCOMPETENCIES:1. Customer

DrivenPOSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:This is a full-time
sales and account management position. Hours of work and days
aretypically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The
nature of any sales positionalso includes evening and weekend work
as job duties and client needs demand.SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITY:This position has no supervisory role.WORK
ENVIRONMENT:This job operates primarily in a professional office
environment with occasional timespent in a warehouse or a clinical
setting. This role routinely uses standard officeequipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax
machines.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met byan employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The
employee is typically required to sit; frequently stands, is
occasionally required toclimb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch
or crawl. The employee must frequently liftand/or move up to 10
pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific
vision abilities required by this job include both close and
distance vision, colorand peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus.TRAVEL:Travel, including overnight travel,
is required for this position; to client locations,
branchlocations, home office, and occasional conference locations.
