The TRG Manufacturing Search Division is looking for an energetic
Logistics Supervisor - Shipping & Receiving to lead a 16-person
materials team that is responsible for everything from receiving
production parts and returned items, managing material flow,
crating & shipping finished items, to supervising their 3PL
warehouse relationship. As the Logistics Supervisor, you will get
work collaboratively with everyone involved with their
manufacturing processes (sales, purchasing, manufacturing,
production, quality, rep groups, service agencies & parts
distributors) to improve on-time delivery and ensure overall
customer satisfaction. This is also the perfect place for a lean
believer who wants to utilize their kaizen training and experiences
to make a difference and be recognized for their achievements.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or
related technical experience.
- 2+ years of shipping & receiving/logistics leadership or
warehouse supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and
Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.
- Previous experience managing 3PL (Third Party-Logistics) vendor
- Proven ability to analyze and effectively communicate data to
the leadership team.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge a plus
- Strong computer skills; Excel, PowerPoint, ERP, MRP, etc. If
