Great seasonal/part-time opportunity available for experienced income tax preparer.HIPPENSTEEL & ASSOCIATES, INC is a local accounting firm established in 1988 serving the Grand Rapids area with personalized, accurate and friendly service. We maintain a positive, relaxed, family friendly work environment enabling our employees to perform at their best.Resposibilities:Preparation of individual income tax returnsAssist with phone communicationsSkills and Experience:At least 2 years of tax return preparation experience preferred, but will trainSolid knowledge of preparing form 1040 and accompanying schedulesGood computer skillsEffective communication skillsPrescribe to ethical standards in all areas of the jobPersonable and enjoy working with clients and co-workersWork Location:Standale/Walker (free door to door parking)Other:This position is seasonal (February-April) at approximately 30 hours a week. There is some flexibility in designing the work week at the beginning of Tax Season, but preferably three 10-hour days or four 8-hour days.You will have your own officeThis position pays $15 to $25 per hour, depending on your experience and skillsWe maintain a clean environment for our staff and clients including masks, hand sanitzer, anti-bacterial cleaners and air purifier.
