Job Description:

While working as a Tool Room Assistant for Adecco at a local client you will receive a weekly paycheck. Tool Room Assistants are Temp to Hire Assignments that will allow you to enhance your career while gaining valuable Tool Room experience.As a Tool Room Assistant at our local client you will effectively Set up, adjust and operate a variety of precision machine tools to perform exacting, progressive operation on tools, jigs and fixture. Part, die components or equivalent requiring a high degree of skills and broad knowledge of machining techniques.Primary responsibilities include:* Service die cast dies and trim dies per work orders.* Visually inspect all components - slides, cores, inserts, etc. - during service of dies.* Make cores for dies per print.* Polish dies for solder build up or was out.* Make punches for trim dies.* Stamp die inserts.* Record all work performed on dies and update tooling history logbooks.* Grind feeders - safe edges - gate runners.* Drill water lines in inserts.* Operate all machinery in Tool Room.* Weld die cast die or trim dies.* Turn nozzles.* Assist in any other areas as requested by Tool Room Supervisor.* Fill out all pertinent forms as directed by Tool Room Supervisor.* Perform all job duties with safety and quality as primary focusThese Tool Room jobs are more skilled positions.
