Republic Services, Inc., a leader in the U.S non-hazardous solid waste and recycling industry, is seeking a dependable and safety-minded CDL B Driver to join our fleet of blue trucks. This role is crucial in servicing our community by ensuring the safe and efficient collection, transfer, and disposal of non-hazardous waste and recyclables. As a CDL B Driver with Republic Services, you will operate vehicles such as rear-load, front-load, or side-load trucks, serving both residential and commercial routes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a stable and supportive environment, with a clear path for professional growth within the company. Perform daily inspection of assigned truck and report any operational issues or safety concerns to management. Operate truck in a safe and effective manner on assigned routes to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of materials. Follow designated routes ensuring that waste and recycling materials are collected efficiently. Coordinate with the dispatch team to communicate customer issues or potential delays. Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper disposal at transfer stations or recycling facilities. Maintain cleanliness and operational functionality of the vehicle at all times. Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles including rear-load, front-load, or side-load trucks. Strong geographical knowledge of the service area or the ability to effectively utilize GPS and route technologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
