Job Details Level Entry Job Location IDville - Grand Rapids, MI Position Type Full Time About the Opportunity The Technical Support Representative (TSR) is responsible for customer service and support of IDville's technical products. The TSR places orders, responds to product questions, proposes alternative or additional products, and answers basic scheduling, billing and delivery inquiries for the IDville brand. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Technical Support Representative (TSR) is responsible for providing excellent customer service and support of our ID badge printers, software, cameras, and accessories. Resolve all inbound customer inquiries promptly, with professionalism, courtesy and accuracy, and follow through to completion. Responsible for obtaining customer information and updating account documentation on technical support calls. Problem-solve and handle technical support and repair issues appropriately. Use analytical skills to understand the customer, their business, and technology issues and needs. Communicate with potential customers; explain complex technical products and services over the phone. Follow all policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency. Ability to meet and exceed all monitoring criteria and utilize feedback for further development. Support established policies to reflect strong support of corporate goals and vision. REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma. Associates degree preferred. 1-3 years of technical support experience Fast learner and at ease with technology, some knowledge of computer architecture, applications, and/or infrastructure Understanding of how databases work and ODBC Well-versed on printer drivers, operating systems, networks, databases, etc. . .
