Responsible for designing , developing and testing Embedded
Software (Firmware), platforms and systems that control and runs on
devices that need to be tailored to the needs of the hardware that
it has to control and run on (i.e. directly controls the real time
functions of a physical device such as motors, alternators,
engines, valves, fans, and other devices and products).
Typically requires a deep understanding of the characteristics of
the physical device being controlled, the real-time functions it is
expected to perform and the ability to design, develop, implement,
and test the logic and software required to realize the real-time
functionality. Usually tailored for products and services across
various P&Ls. Responsible for departmental operations
planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional
activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some
autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end
results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering
work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability
(quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Job Description As an Advanced Lead Embedded Software Engineer you
will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded
software within the Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM)
team. IVHM creates solutions that perform health management for the
aircraft.
Core Responsibilities:
The base pay range for this position is $105,600.00 - $125,000.00.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors,
including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. You
are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a
percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This
posting is expected to close on 10/01/2024.
