Position: Remote Software Engineer An innovative IoT/Design/Manufacturing company based out of the Grand Haven, MI area is seeking a full-time, direct-hire Remote Software Engineer to be an integral part of their Software & IoT Engineering Team! Here are a few reasons you should apply:

JOB DESCRIPTION: In this role, you'll be key developer on the Software & IoT Engineering team involved with everything from design, architecture, implementation and maintenance of applications. You'll help leverage open-source technologies, IoT and cloud tools. You'll work to create a dynamic IoT platform utilizing moderns tools for containerization, device controls, cloud backend, analytics and machine learning. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years of Full Stack Development experience, preferably utilizing Open Source tools & technology.
  • Experience with Linux OS, Linux Administration and using Command Line.
  • Experience using a Raspberry Pi.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Node.js.
  • Experience coding APIs.
  • Experience with Containerization tools such as Docker, Belena, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines. BONUS EXPERIENCE:
    • Any experience with IoT or Machine Learning.
    • Experience with TIG Stack (Telegraf, Influx, Grafana).
    • Experience with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node), Node-red.
    • Experience with open-source technologies such as PostgreSQL, Nginx and Electron.
    • Previous Management/Team Lead experience and good organization skills.
    • Ability to help lead and mentor other developers. JOB TYPE:
