Job Description:

As the Human Resources Representative at our Corporate center, you will assist with various HR activities as well as maintain the front reception and lobby area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, additional duties may be assigned:

  • Answers incoming multi-line phone system, determines purpose of callers by answering questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information, forwards calls and takes messages for appropriate departments.
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to corporate associates. Issues visitor passes when required and maintains TS16949 contractors log.
  • Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
  • Receives, adds and documents daily checks and cash.
  • Orders, receives, and maintains office and coffee supplies.
  • Assists applicants with completion of pre-employment paperwork and AVA testing.
  • Coordinates travel plans, meeting rooms, meals and activities for staff meetings outside and inside the office including updating appointment calendars.
  • Maintains offsite storage location files for all departments.
  • Completes verbal and written employment verifications.
  • Creates memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
  • Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
  • Assist department managers on special projects.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Compiles and processes new hire paperwork into HRIS and ERP systems.
  • Assists with coordination and running of training sessions.
  • Coordinates and prepares associate birthday cards for all locations.
  • Coordinates quarterly all company newsletter.
  • Maintains up-to-date pictures of employees in ERP and HR systems.
  • Maintains badge and business card systems, ordering and processing.
  • Maintains and updates HR forms.
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills
    • Preference given if bilingual English + Spanish.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Reasoning Ability
      Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills
      To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Human Resources systems and Microsoft Office Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
