\n\n \n \n Description of Work\n *Note: Applicants in this position
will not be scheduled more than 32 hours per week.A Behavioral
Analysis Technician, under general supervision and working in a
variety of Community Mental Health, local community, and family
home settings, provides one on one services related to the delivery
of comprehensive or focused behavioral intervention to children
with Autism Spectrum Disorder, neurological disorders, or other
developmental disabilities. An employee in this class performs a
variety of paraprofessional level work activities requiring a
general working knowledge of the mental health field and behavior
analysis. A Behavioral Analysis Technician will work under the
direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board
Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) providing a number of
services related to behavioral assessment, treatment planning, and
implementation of written behavior plans. This employee also
performs other related duties as assigned.\n Required Minimum
Entrance Qualifications\n 1. Be a high school graduate or have a
certificate of completion of the General Education Development
(GED) test; AND2. Have a minimum of one (1) year experience working
with young children or children/adults with developmental
disabilities.\n Physical Conditions / Work Location\n PHYSICAL
ACTIVITIESA Behavioral Analysis Technician must be in good physical
condition such as to allow for the lifting of objects weighing
thirty-five (35) pounds or more and for standing or walking
extended periods of time. A Behavioral Analysis Technician must be
able to lift and transfer consumers from wheelchair to other
surfaces as needed. This employee must also be able to perform
physical intervention techniques as trained and approved by the
agency.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSAn employee in this class generally
works at various locations in the community and in family homes.
Must be able to drive and travel to locations within and outside of
the county.\n Additional Information\n EVALUATION CONTENTApplicants

background check, depending on the nature and assignment of the

present and future vacancies in this classification in the County

Term Disability\t\t\tNo cost to the employee, employer paid at 66
2/3% of salary after 6 month waiting period\t\t\tAvailable first of

accumulated .385 days. per pay period\t\t\tAccrual begins on first
day of employment and is available to use on the 90th day of

.500 days per pay period. Increasing to maximum of 24 days with 20
years of eligible County service, see Personnel Rules for
accumulation chart.\t\t\tAccrual begins on first day of employment
and is available to use upon completion of six months of continuous

Payout\t\t\tEmployee may elect up to 40 hours of accumulated
vacation and/or sick time to be paid as cash. Future accruals
