Community Liaison/ConciergeDescriptionAbout this OpportunityThe
Community Liaison is responsible for partnering with internal
business partners (HMG employees) and external (guests) to build,
maintain, and grow a positive overall experience for our employees,
visitors and clients. With an eye towards facility management and
customer experience, the Community Liaison is responsible for the
well-being of our employees and visitors including all factors that
contribute to maintaining a lively, energetic, highly functional
community of professionals. This position is responsible for
creating an intuitive, easy to follow process of celebrating
desired behaviors, correcting undesirable behaviors and
preserving/sustaining the unique characteristics of culture found
at Herman Miller by providing community management for all
residents and guests.What You'll DoYou'll have opportunities to

(example: dry cleaning, restaurant discounts, theaters

business within our environment with accordance to our business and
safety policies.If applicable, responsible for mail (incoming and
outgoing).Manage breakroom supplies were applicable.Has knowledge
of temp check stations, PPE requirements (for all what sections of
the buildings) and what is required for all to enter the
buildings.Works with vendors and contractors on site to be briefed
on (and comply with) safety requirements throughout the entirety of
their visit.This position is the key contact for Safety. This role
will be briefed on a regular basis of any drills for employees for
fire, tornado, or civil emergency.Monitor Sanitization Stations and
contact the appropriate team if items are running low.Work with
employees to ensure they are always wearing a mask and social
distancing while in the office.Monitors day-to-day management of
spaces, furniture, fixtures to ensure they are clean, well
maintained for the needs of both employees and visitors.If
applicable for your site, monitors outside spaces, parking lots and
grounds to ensure that the same standards of experience delivered
inside are met outside or as needed for your site.Monitor fitness
spaces to ensure they are clean and signs are posted etc.Helps to
coordinate events and activities with internal business partners
such as Food Service and Facilities Management team.Responsible to
push out change management communication (from direct WTLs) via
appropriate Herman Miller communication channels and
forums.Maintain schedule and reservation information for restricted
conference rooms and meeting spacesSound Like You?You might be just
who we re looking for if you have . . .Associate's Degree Degree in
related field and/or Facilities Coordinator experience.Five to
seven years customer service experience and exemplary performance
or an equivalent combination of education, training and
experience.Excellent hosting, organizational, interpersonal and
communication skills with strong attention to detail.Outgoing,
energetic personality and thoroughly enjoys working with people,
ability to meet and work well with all levels of employees and
guests.Ability to consistently maintain a professional and poised
appearance while exhibiting a high sense of urgency in difficult
work situations.Ability to handle multiple projects, organize work
in matter of importance and meet deadlines.Work independently with
little or no direction.Ability to work varied hours and have a
flexible schedule.Demonstrated ability to effectively use office
automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the
HMI office environment.Must be able to perform all essential
