A reputable school district in Clinton Township, MI is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide vital healthcare services to students during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school setting by supporting medically fragile students. Responsibilities include: - Managing 1:1 or small caseloads of students with complex medical needs - Assisting with lifting, toileting, and other physical care tasks - Providing specialized care for students with tracheostomies, g-tubes, seizure disorders, and other health challenges - Collaborating with school staff and families to ensure student well-being and safety - Maintaining accurate health records and complying with school policies and regulations Qualifications: - Active Michigan RN license is required; LPNs cannot be considered - Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred - Ability to handle medically fragile students and perform physical tasks associated with care - Strong communication and organizational skills - Dedication to supporting student health and educational success Location: Clinton Township, MI Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, school-year contract (dates tentative) Number of Positions: 2 openings This role offers a chance to work directly in the school environment, providing critical nursing care where it is needed most.
