Job Description On-Call Hospice Nurse Join our growing, nurse-led hospice (80% SNF population). We are a nurse-led company. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team. This field-based role provides critical after-hours support to hospice patients and families in their homes and care facilities.7 on/7 off schedule. We are a growing hospice hiring on-call nurses for growth . Our leadership are all nurses 80% of our patient population is in SNFs , which can be a significant advantage for nurses looking at on-call opportunities. Job Summary: The On-Call RN provides responsive, skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients during evenings, nights, and weekends. You'll support patients and families with symptom management, crisis response, and emotional support during vulnerable times, collaborating with the broader hospice team to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current RN license in the state of Michigan At least 1 year of RN hospice experience preferred Key Skills & Traits: Independent, sound clinical judgment in a home or facility setting Calm under pressure and able to respond effectively in crisis situations Flexible, compassionate, and collaborative Emotionally grounded with the ability to support diverse patients and families Open to completing hospice-specific training Requirements: Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation Competitive mileage reimbursement provided
