Job Description Physician Orthopedic Trauma Grand Rapids, MI The
Orthopedic Trauma Section is seeking a
board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Trauma surgeon to join
our team of five fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeons in
response to increasing clinical volumes.The ideal candidate will
have expertise in managing adult upper and lower extremity
fractures, as well as pelvic/acetabular fractures. The candidate
should exhibit strong team collaboration, a commitment to
excellence, high emotional intelligence, and a dedicated work

advanced patient care opportunities Teaching responsibilities
include training orthopedic surgery residents and medical students
from Michigan State University Strong team support, including
advanced practice providers, orthopedic surgery residents, nurse
navigators, and an onsite Multidisciplinary Trauma Clinic Emphasis
on work-life balance and provider satisfaction Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD or DO) Board Certified/Board Eligible in
Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma from an
accredited institution Ability to obtain full Michigan licensure
DEA Registration in Michigan (required upon hire) Basic Life
Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC (within 120 days) Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by specialty Grand
