Behavioral Health for a local contract nursing job in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral
Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 52
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment
Type: Local Contract Shift Differentials: - 7 am-3 pm: Saturday &
Sunday at $1.25 extra per hour - 3 pm-11 pm: Monday – Thursday at
$2.00 extra per hour - 3 pm-11 pm: Friday – Sunday at $3.00 extra
per hour - 11 pm-7 am: Monday – Thursday at $4.00 extra per hour -
11 pm-7 am: Friday – Sunday at $5.00 extra per hour Full Time 3rd
shift (36 hours – 12 hour shift), and Full Time 2nd shift (32 hours
– 8 hour shift) Required/Desired Qualifications:/nEducation,
Training, and Experience:/nLicensed to practice in the state of
Michigan, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred./nMay be
required to have professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing
theory as required through completion of education from an
accredited school of nursing./nSatisfactory previous clinical
experience./nNew grads can be considered but would prefer pysch or
ED experience./nSpecific skills, knowledge, and abilities:/nAbility
to provide care/service within the scope of: Holding a conviction
to express Christ’s love and compassion to recipients of services,
coworkers, and surrounding communities through integrity,
stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, equity,
inclusion, and professional excellence./nAbility to provide
culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a
diverse community setting./nWork requires professional knowledge of
psychiatric nursing theory as required through completion of
education from an accredited school of nursing./nRequires physical
and emotional stamina to deal with physical, emotional, social,
cultural and spiritual needs of patients./nAbility to work in a
potentially adverse environment./nAnalytical skills necessary in
order to collect, analyze and interpret complex patient data, to
determine importance of information collected and the ability
provide this data to providers and other team members as
necessary./nThe candidate may be required to have a valid Michigan
driver’s license and ability access Pine Rest Transportation
