Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: 2 years required License: ARRT required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Interventional Radiology experience required Description: This position involves setting up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures. You will process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images. Assisting in preparing patients for procedures is a key responsibility. You will also assist other members of the staff and physicians as needed. This will help ensure the timely and efficient use of the cath lab and special procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients, sterile tray setup, and post-cath care. You will also be involved in room cleanup after procedures. Manipulating equipment and setting appropriate techniques on radiographic generators is essential to achieve optimal image quality. Operating a variety of electronic equipment, including cardiac output computers, is part of the role. You will perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements as required.
