Job Description:

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Location: Grand Rapids, MI Duration: 3 Months contract (possibility of extension) Schedule Notes: 6:30 pm – 7 am/7 pm – 7 am , (12*3) hrs shift, every weekend required. Duties: · Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician, consistent with policies and procedures, and unit-based routines. · Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician. · Communicates and collaborates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of service. · Documents patient chargeable items according to standards. · Recognizes appropriate and ethical behaviours and identifies resources for resolution as needed.
