Job Description:
Have you been thinking about starting a career in Health Care,
but don't know where to begin? Corewell Health (formerly Spectrum
Health) Continuing Care (CHCC) offers a unique program called the
Unit Aide to CNA Career Path Program. This program is designed to
provide you with experience working in a health care setting while
paying for you to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The program
begins with you starting in one of our Rehab & Nursing Centers as a
Unit Aide. The Unit Aide acts as a team member training alongside a
CNA or licensed nurse in the delivery of quality, patience care,
prior to attending a State of Michigan approved Certified Nurse
Aide training program. Within 60 days of hire, you will be enrolled
in and expected to complete a state of Michigan approved CNA
training course. With this program, CHCC will cover the costs for
you to attend CNA training...AND pay you for your hours spent in
classes. Your State of Michigan CNA certification is required
within 90 days of course completion. After obtaining your CNA
certification, you will be promoted into a CNA position so that you
can put your new skills to use, along with the training you've been
getting along the way, to help make a difference in the lives of
our patients and residents. It is expected that you remain employed
in a full time or eligible part time CNA position within a Corewell
Health Rehab and Nursing Facility for at least one year.
Additionally, once you are promoted to a CNA position, you will
receive a sign on bonus of either $2,000 for full time or $1,000
for part time. Ask your recruiter for more details! We currently

available with benefits starting the following month. - Day and
