Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time, 48 hours Per Pay Period

Shift: 2:00pm-10:15pm
Schedule: 6 shifts Per Pay Period (bi-weekly), will include every other weekend and Holiday rotation]

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Shahbaz position is to protect, sustain, and nurture the elders by providing assistance with activities of daily living and meeting other needs as required. The core goal of the Shahbazim's work is to provide assistance in a manner that promotes a high quality of life and positive elderhood. The responsibilities of the Shahbazim include care of the elders and the elder's environment, including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping. The Shahbaz is a member of a self-managed work team and is responsible for coordinating aspects of the team's work. Other duties as assigned; a full job description is available upon request and upon hire.

Team Member to Elder ratio: 1:5 on day and evening and 1:10 on night

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be currently certified as a Certified Nurse Aide and have proof of eligibility to work as a CNA in the State of Michigan (Prometric certificate).
CPR certification is required,
No experience needed
