The Plastic Surgery Section at Spectrum Health is recruiting 2 new Physicians to support the educational, administrative, and the clinical components of the Lemon Holton Cancer center and our 11 Hospital System. The ideal candidates will have a strong interest in reconstructive microsurgery and have completed a microsurgery fellowship.

The selected candidates will provide general plastic surgery services and Microsurgery, Breast Reconstruction, and extended Oncology reconstructive procedures as part of multi-disciplinary teams working at Spectrum Health.

The Spectrum Health/Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency program is one of the oldest training programs in the country and offers an environment of collegiality with rigorous academic pursuit and a demand for excellence. Our emphasis on research, both clinical and basic science, fosters a unique environment of inquiry and results in residents and faculty producing numerous publications of articles, chapters and books. The Plastic Surgery service line is an expanding program with a commitment to the recruitment of a diverse group of surgeons and all candidates, who function in a team-based atmosphere.

This is an outstanding and unique opportunity for a plastic surgeon at the assistant or associate professor level
to establish and grow an academic practice and be part of a very strong and growing residency program.
