Job Description:

Wonderful co-ed care facility for children and adolescents ages 12-17 is searching for an RN for their clinic. This is a large campus with comprehensive services including a large clinic onsite. This is a 12 hour DAY shift position.

Essential Duties:

Provide quality professional health services; to include: sick call, regular medical assessments, appropriate referrals for dental needs, daily triage of injuries and illnesses, record review, health screening, and health education.

• Schedule all physical and dental appointments and other appointments as needed
• Consultation with primary care physicians and dentists for assessment of ongoing care and scheduling appointments with specialist as needed
• Consultation with consulting GP for prescribed medications
• Have prescriptions filled, prepare prescriptions for individuals and monitor the administration of prescribed medications by appropriate personnel
• Provide education to staff on health issues as well as the side effects and the proper administration of prescribed medications

  • Requires a Registered Nurse Diploma or degree.
  • Must have and maintain current and appropriate RN licensure in the state where employed.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with other program staff within the agency, and willing and able to work as a team member
