Summary: Provide leadership and direction for Quality performance and quality personnel at the site. Steward and grow customer and supplier relationships. Create and sustain policies, procedures, and systems to meet industry requirements. Qualify new products and processes as part of business strategy. Business Unit Profile: Converting of flexible materials (adhesives, films, liners, foam, felt, etc.) and Distribution of O-rings and custom molded parts. High part count and new part launch volume. Significant Automotive customer base primarily in North America; but also serve clients throughout Europe and Asia in a broad range of industries. Customer base is primarily Tier 2-3 and distribution - with a growing OEM base. Essential Duties Include: Responsible for overall quality program structure and performance for the facility.Manage all aspects of quality throughout the organization to ensure quality product is launched and manufactured.Maintain current quality certifications, ensuring audit completion and conformance.Lead and develop quality department team members.Determine and manage quality assurance roles and responsibilities.Determine and implement facility quality training requirements.Lead, mentor, and coach individuals within company in quality programs and processes.Track and manage the cost of quality both internally and externally.Participate in leadership activities including strategic planning and appropriate policies.Directs, plans, and implements policies and objectives of Quality department in accordance with company objectives.Defining and mapping processes, establishing forms, procedures, and policies.Identify, track, manage and improve customer feedback.Manage corrective action process and reporting of data.Review organizational performance reports to ensure that organization's objectives are achieved.Partner with engineering to maintain and implement appropriate inspection systems and data collection to verify product conformance and analysis for improvement.Direct supplier quality audit selection and completion.Maintain and manage compliance for materials (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, etc.) and tariffs (USMCA) and other areas as assigned.Provide budgeting requirements for quality function.Promote company values and ethics.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Quality, or related field.5+ years of QA/QC experience as a Quality Engineer including implementing Quality Management Systems in a factory manufacturing environment.5+ years Supervisory and/or Quality Operations Leadership experienceDemonstrated Automotive Quality Background and previous exposure to IATF16949 Standards.Broad knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, Core Quality tools, layered audits, etc.Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 13485, auditing (Internal and/or suppliers), and lean manufacturing also preferred.Able to achieve results through others through communication, motivating and mentoring.Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics within Microsoft Excel, ERP Systems, and Microsoft OfficeAble to communicate effectively with customers as well as with all levels within the organization.Proven technical leadership using structured problem-solving methods.Personal attributes including strong leadership presence, high-energy, detail orientated, data analysis, and data driven decision making.High level of comfort when working in ambiguous situations, with the ability to gather pieces of information and summarize them into meaningful statements and/or instructions. Ability to make decisions based on experience to plan and accomplish goals.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to build a positive interface with customers. Additional Information:Position may require travel, (up to 10%), primarily domestic. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Must be able to travel internationally, if required.
