RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company in the Grand Rapids, MI area, is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. The position will report to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for all accounting functions at the plant, managing one staff. Responsibilities: * Manage all accounting functions and activities such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger* Preparation and analysis of timely monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including comparisons to budget, prior month, prior year, etc.* Assist in direct budgeting, financial planning and forecasting processes* Maintain adequate internal controls to ensure safeguarding of assetsJob Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting* Minimum of 7-10 years accounting experience within a manufacturing environment* Strong background in Excel with pivots and look-ups experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
