Job Description Job Description Company Overview – AST & Science Position: Electrical Assembler Location: Midland, TX Company Overview : Mission is to build the first and only space-based cellular broadband network, aiming to eliminate connectivity gaps and make broadband accessible globally. Job Description: The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line and assembeling parts for satellite systems. Duties & Responsibilities: Works as part of a production team to assemble parts. Sorts and places material or items on tables, racks or bins. Assembles satellite sub-assembly parts manually. Uses various hand tools, measuring and test equipment. Cleans assembled parts and places in protective bags or boxes. Packs, seals, and moves boxes. Picks up, moves and sorts small parts. Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Associates degree or certificate in technical area. Assembly or manufacturing experience. High aptitude to work with small electronic, to include soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment. Experience in space or aeronautical field. Work Environment: Clean Room Environment – Bench Work. Currently working 48 – 60 hours/week. 1st shift 7:30am-4:00pm. 2nd shift 4pm-12:30am 3rd 11:pm-7:30am Compensation Breakdown: Straight Time : $27 an hour Overtime : $40.50 an hour Daily Per Diem : $192/day up to 7 days Total Compensation Package ( equivalent to ) : $51 an hour *if interested, please contact Pablo at 424 531 6114* Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Midland, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
