Description We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team
in the assembly and sub-assembly of manufactured structures. The
successful candidate will be involved in pulling wire, bending
conduit, and installing control systems within a collaborative
assembly environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret
schematics and circuit layout symbols. Perform wire termination and
work with 3-phase connections. Bend rigid conduit pipe and install
lighting systems. Ensure finished products meet specified
standards. Work with various voltages, including 120V, 240V, and
480V. Utilize electrical tools such as wire strippers, voltmeters,
crimpers, and multi-meters. Diagnose basic electrical issues
including blown fuses, fault switches, and loose connections.
Essential Skills Experience with different voltages. Ability to
read and interpret electrical schematics. Proficient in pulling and
managing wire, including splicing, stripping, and connecting. Own a
basic set of tools including wrenches, tape measure, and sockets.
Own steel-toe boots. Troubleshoot electrical issues such as blown
fuses. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing
facility with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, typically totaling
40-48 hours per week. The work environment is dynamic and requires
safety adherence, including wearing steel-toe boots. Job Type &
Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South
Bend, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits
and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
