Job Description:
The Senior Global Manufacturing Engineer reports to the Director
of Engineering and will work with Apps Engineering, Design
Engineering and Manufacturing to develop, mature, and transition
products and processes to improve operations, capabilities, and
effectiveness globally. This role will support development and
production programs and must be passionate for technical
creativity. Project Based Responsibilities Coordinates internal and
external resources for the execution of New Product, Process
launches, CapEx Implementation from Bidding phase to Full Rate
Production Defines the project scope and objectives, involving all
relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Ensures
that all assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and
budget, and with the utmost level of quality. Establishes and
cultivates excellent customer relationships. Serves as the primary
technical interface with customers to answer questions, resolve
issues and provide information. Develops detailed Project
Plans/Timelines to monitor progress and manage change in scope,
schedule, and costs accordingly. Reports and escalates to
management as needed. Performs Risk Management Analysis to mitigate
all possible project risks. Ensures compliance with internal and
external requirements, standards, processes, and procedures,
including Export Compliance and ITAR. Maintains and monitors Issues
Register for each project, to ensure timely resolution of all open
actions. Consults w/ Manufacturing and Design Engineering teams on
the design and development of tools and fixtures (fabrication,
gauging, inspection, etc.) for production. Regularly communicates
with and updates customers regarding program progress, delivery
dates, and metrics. Works with Account Managers as necessary to
utilize customer systems (e.g. PO Portals, File Transfer Sites,
etc.) Technology Based Responsibilities Supports Director of
Engineering with Scheduling, Organizing Quarterly TIG (Technical
Interchange Group) meetings. Collaborate with Applications
Engineering on Technology Road Map Performs other duties as
assigned by Manager. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years Project
Management experience, preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a
manufacturing environment, preferred. 3 years Customer Service
Experience in a professional setting Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Excellent analytical and problem solving
skills Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Proficient
in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project At
